Phone Book Sub Section: Recent Calls
I have had the CDM-9900 exactly (1) month come Election Day. The only thing that bugs me is the "Recent Calls" Section of the phone book and the lack of assignable Icons to phone book numbers which the CDM-9500 had. Why does the phone have to display the same redialed number multiple times? Annoying!! I hope there will be one software clean up later on to correct minor problems like this. Other than this I can find no fault.

Icons CAN be assigned to a phone book number and you can also assign pictures to a number too. Check the manual on how to do it.
As to "Recent Calls", some customers like to see exactly each call received and dialed and the exact time of each, so that is the why they did it that way. Some, like you, don't. It's hard to please everyone! A feature one likes, the other dislikes!

Every phone I've had listed every call dialed and received. I definitely prefer it that way.

With that in mind, would'nt you just want to know the last time you dialed a number, rather than how many times you dialed the same number? Also the previous rendision of this phone had more icons to choose from when setting up a phonebook.
