Download from phone to PC via data cable

Many people have posted regarding this. Verizon's greedy behavior does not allow direct download from phone to PC via the data cable.
Let us all call, write, e-mail to Verizon and complain about this. Perhaps someone there will be persuaded to listen...

It can be done. the Verizon tech support dude in California told me so. He said he personally owned the phone and found out how to do it via the data cable. But he wouldn't tell me how. He said that he wasn't allowed to do so. he said that I could google up the info, but I haven't been able to do so.

Has anyone been able to find this info. on the web? It is hard to believe that a verizon tech will say such a thing over the phone if he values his job.

It wasn't over the phone that he said it, it was over the counter. He said that I could easily find out how to do it via google. Well, I'll try some more. I was hoping that someone here already knew how. It's a shame that Verizon is being like this.

Audiovox sells a picture downloading kit, but it doesnt work with Verizon. 😡

Well, once the pictures are saved on the phone, does Verizon even enter into the equation, unless Verizon put something into the phone to prevent that downloading kit from working? What would the kit consist of, anyway, the USB cable, which I already have, and some software?
