Mobileweb4u price increase
I was about to renew my Mobileweb4u subsription (upgrade from 1 month to 1 year) when I noticed that they've raised the price from c. $25/year to 39.95 in the last couple of weeks. Just so you all know.
It's a great service but they seem to know it and their gouging bugged me ... so I cancelled.

I see it too. How weird - here's the feedback I sent to MobileWeb4u on Wed (12/22):
"I was about to upgrade to a year's subscription from my first month - then noticed that your price has gone up to $39.95. Would this be my cost for a year even though I signed on before the price rise? If so, then I'm afraid that i will cancel now."
AND HERE'S THE RESPONSE I GOT:
"Unfortunately the current price is what is now available.
Sorry to disappoint you.

If anyone is interested in this thread - here's the latest communication I received from MobileWeb4u:
"After discussing with others in the company we decided to maintain our original wap 2.0 price point but to eliminate the $3.00 a month option.

So, at $25/year this plan is well worth it.
