what are you thinking of getting if the 9900 isn't coming out? to be honest I almost like the vx 7000 better than anything, cause it's got more photo and video storage. and I wouldn't use bluetooth or expansion cards. plus I want a smaller phone than the v710. the fact that it comes out in 5 days doesn't hurt either. what are your thoughts braveyoyo? Your the only one I respect on these forums.

I have seen both the LG and Moto and the size differenct is not much. The LG is a little longer, I think it is not quite as nice looking as the Moto. It has the blue cover with silver edges on the front where the Moto is silver and black. If it was for me, I would go with LG, for my wife-Moto. There were comments made in the office that the LG was "manly" looking.

I'm not looking for bluetooth. I am looking for good reception and reliability. My Moto 120 is the third one I've had in two years and the reception is much worse than my old audiovox. So... digital LG? Tri-mode Moto 710??? I want the 9900! I wrote to Audiovox last night to ask if it had been scraped. No word back yet.

as i posted on the 710 post, i think that Ill see what ecko04 says on tuesday as he has the 710 and is getting the 7000 on tuesday. Theres only these 2 phones so its 6 and one half dozwen and the lesser of 2 evils. Also Ill probably get the 7000 on friday and if I like it, then great. If I hate it, Ill exch it for the 710 which comes out early july

as it appears according to phonescoop there will be a vx7000a version which will be tri-mode, anybody aware of that? any inside info on this? this is really important as i see the audi9900 aint coming out so fast but a trimode phone is a must with all the analog out there.

I'm willing to wait for the Tri-mode Audiovox/Toshiba CDM-9900. I just hope the damn thing isn't canceled completely. It was soooo, so close to release. Could it be "already" mass produced and sitting in a warehouse someplace, waiting for a "decision" on what Verizon calls "issues with this phone." I was really impressed with the close cousin 9950 offered by Sprint, I actually went to Sprint to see it and hold it in my hands. I was eager for the Verizon CDMA version. Now this whole thing is very disappointing to me. I have no faith, only hope. Toshiba builds a great phone, but marketed by Audiovox and sold thru Verizon. Now that Audiovox is selling off it's phone division, I would expect Verizon will have the good sense to offer Toshiba Phon...

only hope I can offer, is that the audiovox lady who visits VZW stores here in LA, w the dummy phone, has been to a couple stores and is still under the impression that its coming out so who knows, but thats the only sliver of hope I know at this point. I just emailed audiovox (as per my earlier post) and i suggest u all do too, maybe we'll get an answer we want
