Audiovox CDM-9900

I don't know what aldcon is referring to. It isn't called s/w, firmware, etc. It's called SCRAPPED!!. That is the primary reason you haven't heard anything on the phone, that's because it isn't coming out. Here in the southeast, everyone knows this whether or not they wish to divulge this information or not.

Phonescoop can have the word "tentative" up for 2 years and you still won't see this phone. The phone is scrapped, contrary to belief, it isn't coming out. It really doesn't matter if you believe me or not, you'll see that you're waiting for nothing in time.

Just for you all know, my Verizon rep has told me that the 9900 will be available towards the end of July. Verizon is simply waiting to get as much out of the lg and motorola as possible. It has not been scrapped. This is confirmed by the regional director of the great plains area for Verizon.

I don't have to convince anyone to think otherwise. I told you the phone isn't coming out and you can watch June, July, August, September, October, etc. go by and you still won't see the phone.

It isn't coming out so people claiming they work for Verizon can post these bogus threads about how they heard it from their friends mama auntie cousins sister who just so happens to be a regional director about a release date and its all misinformation.

The phone is scrapped and isn't coming out but this is the last time I reply to something like this about a release date on this phone because it isn't going to happen.

This phone will be coming very soon. I work with the Regional Director for the great plains areas, midwest division. She has told me it will be coming out. So I guess we will simply have to wait and say told you so when it does. I have never posted a message to this website before today and probably wont again. I was simply tired of seeing all of the incorrect information that is being released in this forum. Hopefully, this information will be reassuring.

I am the president of Verizon Wireless and I say..........ok ok maybe I'm not the president. But I am the president of umm Audiovox, and Truly I tell you, the 9900 might not be coming out. It hasn't even passed friendly user trials, since January, and her it is 6 months later. It doesn't really sound good. 😳

Yeah, I remember there were several people saying this a while back.
Facts are that Audiovox and Verizon never said
it was scrapped.
The store that VZWEmployee works at got the
dummy phone in last week. The prices and date that he
posted are directly from Verizon's InfoManager
Intra-net.
I have contacted several of my local stores
about the CDM9900. When the V710 came out, one
of the stores Techs said that they got in the
data cables and tech s/w for the CDM9900 in.
Also, this past week, two stores said that they
got the dummy phone in as well. They WOULD NOT
say when it was due out...because they are not
allowed to say. However, did say it should be
soon since they got the dummy phone in.

I agree. I am sick of disappointing messages. Anyway, I have personally just gotten off the phone with verizon via 611 and can tell you that September 7 is for real.

If you have read my past postings you would see that in general I am usually not very trusting of message board postings, but today, a Verizon operator confirmed to me that this phone will be in the stores on Sept 7.

So, I suggest others call up vzn and confirm as well- post back here with your results- I am very curious.

uh, it is in infomanager. it gives the date and cost of the phone. I am not going to divulge the exact information, but it is there. and it is coming.

What is "infomanager"? I see it all over these posts and have no idea what it is or what it does...someone have an answer?🤭

verizon internal source of information. all proprietary information that some of these people are giving out and risking their jobs for the benefit of those reading.
