Audiovox CDM-9900
Conflicting Information
Based on that response I received from Audiovox today it is difficult to know what the real story is on the 9900. They cannot provide any specific information on the status of the handset, but they act like they still expect Verizon to carry it at some point.
On the other hand you have forum members who claim to know that is has been scrapped by Verizon. But, without exception, they fail to provide any credible source, press release, or document to verify their information. And good old Verizon won't say one way or the other. If they have decided not to carry the 9900, why wouldn't they announce this officially? I guess we can keep the 9900 in the back of our minds until we receive official word one way or the other.
