Audiovox CDM-9900
My Fate: Getting Screwed Over!
My contract with trash mobile expires on the first of august. I was thinking about getting the samsung a670 camera fone if this audiovox doesn't come out by then. But watch, if it doesn't come out before august 1, ima end up getting the samsung, and then 16 days later, after the 15 day try out wit verizon, the audiovox will be released lol just watch! lol Anybody has any news or advice for me?

thats really weird...im basically in the exact same situation. i currently have the 4400, and was planning on getting the a670. then i heard about the 9900, though, and i decided i liked that more. a lot of people have been saying that its not going to come out, but im trying to be optimistic. the advantages to this phone over the a670 are:
1) more pixels in color screen (what does that mean anyway?)
2) 262k vs. 65k main lcd screen
3) larger screens
however, the 9900 is bigger and heavier than the a670.
if you hear anything new about the release of the 9900, please tell me!

dude, my contract expires soon...the first of august. I think that this phone will be out before the 710. Its a fact that the phones with the most hype, are the most garbage in the end. My instincts are that the 9900 will be better than 710 and be out by end of july or beginning of august..lets keep our fingers crossed! 😳

the 9900 is pretty big, do you think that would be a disadvantage to it? also, what makes you think it'll be out by august? i was reading a forum from 2002, and someone said that this phone was supposed to come out shortly after 2002... anyway, i was reading the reviews of the 9900's "close cousin," the 9950. they gave it good reviews. i hope this comes out soon!

the dimensions for the 710 is 3.70 x 1.93 x0.92 and that thing is a BRICK! this on the other hand is smaller...so its better. Ive been following this phone since april...its just a feeling that i have that it will be out by then if not sooner.

i dont think the 9900 is heavy, it will be a light fone, a bit big but nothing in compare to lg7000 and 710.
