9900 vs. 710
Hello everyone,
I came across this forum just a couple weeks ago and have been watching this thread with much interest. I am a new Verizon user (3 mos.) after being with AT&T wireless for 7 years. I currently have an 8900, but am planning on giving it to my wife and therefore will need a new phone.
I was searching for info on the up and coming phones when I found this thread, and then from within this thread I found info on several phones. One of my biggest restrictions is that I require an Analog compatible phone due to my location (on an Island).
Since the 710 is expected any day now, I was curious what the pro’s, con’s and opinions are of the Moto710 vs. the 8900… Any and all input would be much appreciated.

Not to be mean or anything... but I really don't think you can compare the 2. The v710 has a much nicer design (inside and out), it can record 15 second videos (and up to 3-minute videos with the memory card!) Basically it has all the features. And overall it's really a stylish-good looking phone.
P.S: Don't forget the 1.2 megapixel high-res camera. It's not just one of those normal VGA cell phone cameras! 😁

I'd wait to see the 9900 in the plastic first before compairing it to anything. This animal is at least 6-8 months late.

Sure you can compare the V710 to the 9900! 😁 For openers check out the release dates 🤣 It looks like this forum over there all over again!
