Sept. 7th is a definite!
I just spoke with a Verizon Wireless Spokesperson from 1-800-2-JOIN-IN and she assured me that the release date for the 9900 WILL be SEPT.7TH! She (Nancy) said it would be on all verizon shelves on the morning of the 7th.
Yeah, we all have high hopes, but there's the number call and hear the information for yourself!
I do have a question i forgot to ask the lady though...does this phone have any type of a ringer id, by group or individual? Just curious...I can't find anywhere that says yes OR no.
The 9950 has a middle button on top which is the MENU button and the 9900 doesn't...where is the MENU button on the 9900 then?
Call and hear it for yourself...I am reassured now and can wait until the 7th!

Columbus OH stores had the dummy phones and were predicting the phone to be released soon.....have to wait and see.

I'm simply stating what I've been getting over here (West Coast). I don't know why 3 different sales people have confirmed in their computers that it'll be out on the 7th. One was very rude, but was adamant about this date being correct with the price I stated before.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's not out, but at that time I'll give up on it. Hearing an exact date from Verizon Employees and then it not going through should tell us all a bit about Verizon itself. They shouldn't be giving out information that they aren't 100% sure of!

Get your butt off the computer and call for yourself...here's the number (just like the television says)...800-2-JOIN IN! It's that easy...you have NO excuse now! Just do it...it's OKay it doesn't take long...do you need someone to coach you through the process...just reply and I'll give you step by step, button by button instructions as I call Verizon again!
