well actually the v400 is very good, the only problem thats going to bug you is most likely the ear piece volume. it is impossible to hear. other then that everything is pretty good, not enough ringtones though, 4 mp3 ringtones and 1 polyphonic which is the cingular tune, all the other ones are like clap, beeep, and thats about it.

can't you download more? I have free WAP.

Also can I use my T-Mobile sim card with this phone, because I see it says Cingular as the Carrier.

I contacted T-Mobile and they said that the phone should be:

GSM
Sim Card Compatible
1900 Frequency range

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. Any phone that T-Mobile does not sell but you wish to use with our service needs to be a GSM 1900 MHz phone. The best way to determine if it is a GSM phone is if you lift off the battery and there is a compartment about the size of your thumbnail for the SIM card. It must also be SIM unlocked to be used with any SIM card. Once it meets these requirements, you may transfer your SIM into it to activate the phone.

Also I've heard of others using a V400 on T-Mobile service though I don't personally know any of them. So it should work.

As for accessories, the V400 has the exact same data/power cable design and pin layout as the T722i so all those accessories should be cross-compatible.

And as for downloading more ringtones, indeed you can. As a matter of fact you can download midi, polyphonic, or MP3 ringtones to your phone through WAP along with pictures and java games/apps. Or for that matter you can transfer all of those through the data cable using Motorola Phone Tools.
I personally enjoy making my own MP3 ringtones f...
