Downloading ringtones on v400

how do i download mp3 ringtones from my computer to my phone. I have the usb cable. Do i need anythin else? Do i need any software?

Yeah, you'll need Motorola Mobile PhoneTools (MPT) which can be downloaded at http://www.motclub.com/html/programs.htm
