Anyone synced this phone with a BMW? I'm looking to sync with a '06 330. Thanks!

My 710 that was bought recently works reasonably well with an '05 330xi with BMW assist. The dealer did the pairing. Phone book transfers OK and answering and dialing from phone or BMW menu selection work fine. However, I have not been able to get voice dialing to work with the phone except for one brief period in which it somehow magically worked and then stopped working. I realize BMW has its own voice dialing module that a dealer would be happy to sell you, but there should be no need since the V710 has excellent voice dialing if there were a way to somehow open the voice channel for voice commands without dialing a call. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions or work-arounds?

I have a 05 525 and the pairing was very easy did it my self and I am also a member of e60.net which was a huge help in pairing my phone to my car.

now with the voice dialing you have to set up your own "voice-phone book" to have this work. I think "can't remember right now" you just push the button and say create phone book and say the name and then the number, but you are right the V710's voice dialing is better.

My friend was asking Verizon about the Motorola E815 and he told him to get the V710 instead because there is no analog and just dig. Also I just got an extra long life batter for V710 is it true that they take different size battery's now????
Thanks.

Thanks but 😢 I don't have Nav in my E60 the only thing I don't like is that there is no disctinction of HOME/OFFICE/CELL and I have to guess or remember which # is which and if I put a (C) next to the name then it screws up my phone listing and insted of let's say John with sub listings on my cell my home and my work number there would be 3 John's one John (C) John (H) and John (W) anyway around this???

No, there is not a way to have multiple phone numbers per contact.

I was glad to see that this phone syncs with BMW.
Does that means there is hope for me? I have a '05 CLK 500.

Thanks
