Hey I hope somebody can help me, I just got a motorola v710 and i picked up a trans flash card and adapter from my local computer store.

when i go and plug the trans flash into my computer the phone made it's own motorola folder. i know most people use explorer and drag and drop, but when i go and transfer mp3's onto the card and put the card in my phone my phone says empty under my audio folder on my phone.

i tried with pictures and that works, i am able to view them. just no mp3's

my phone created a motorola folder with folders in there that says browser, shared folder and so on.

Where do i put the mp3's.

I appreciate the help.

best regards to all,

If you have Windows XP, those files may actually be Windows Media Files. If so, you will need to download some free software, and convert them to actuall mp3 files. I had this same problem and transferring it took care of it.
