Need 710 driver

I recently upgraded to a V710, I own the Mobile Office Kit that I purchased for my previous phone. The Drivers for the 710 are not on the CD and Verizon doesn't have the driver available for download. Anyone know where I can get the driver without having to buy another kit? I don't need another cable.

Thanks

Have you tried to do a Live Update of the MPT software yet? Are you using MPT or the Verizon kit? If MPT, once you update, you should have the correct driver.

Use the Device Manager to update and install the new driver, point the browse to:

Program FilesMobile PhoneToolsInf

It should update the driver for you.

Let us know if this works. 🙂

MPT stands for Motorola Phone Tools, and is sold by Motorola. It allows you to sync the Contact and Calendar. From what I have read, the Verizon kit only allows sync of the Contacts,

MPT can also do other things but since Verizon has blocked their use, you will have to modify the phone software in order to do it.
