I am new here and I have been look around on the forums to look for an answer for my question and I think I have yet to find it.
Here is my situation: I have 2 year contract from last July and I bought the VX-6000 with insurance. The phone is great but I want a phone that records video. I asked the people at the Verizon retail stores and the dealers that are authorized to sell their phones if I could get a new phone when my contract is over a year old and one of them said yes I could all I would have to do is to extend my agreement while the other said no altogether. My questions are that: if "something" were to happen to my phone would I just pay the deductible and get a better updated phone? Or if I just go in to the place when my contrac...

If you have insurance they will replace your phone with the same one you had after you pay the deductible, as far as the rest of your question I am sure you will get some replies from the VZW people.

ok here is the deal, if you have a 2 year contract your not going to get a upgrade untill 22 months after you purchased your last phone, at which time you will also get a 100 credit towards purchase price.

but if you have a plan 49.99 or above or sign a new 2 year contract for a plan 49.99 and waive your 100.oo credit then you can get an early upgrade once you have had your phone for 12 months. not sure were you live but that is the rule for any state in the north east (va to maine) you may wont to call cust serv untill you get that for an answer

Yes my plan is 79.99 a month and that sounds exactly the same thing that the rep said. BTW I live in Hampton,VA so it should apply. Now here is another question: Do I get the phone for the 1 year or 2 year agreement price, or the full retail price?

Here are the answer's you're looking for. I answer this stuff everyday.

Currently, we are running an early upgrade program; it was actually extended. It started when the camera phones and push to talk phones started coming out. Your plan had to be 49.99 or higher, you had to have fulfilled 1yr of a 2yr agreement, and you had to resign for 2yrs. The early upgrade is now; plan has to be 59.99 or higher, 1 of 2yrs fulfilled, upgrade to any phone at promotional pricing, resign for 2yrs. We have not had any indication of when the early upgrade program will be stopped.

As far as the New Every Two program; you have to be on a rate plan of 35.00 or higher for 2 yrs. At that time, you can get a free phone up to 100.00 in value, or 100.00 ...
