Motorola V710
Alltel Bluetooth-Flips-V710 or Nokia 6225i-Which One
Wow-I was one day away from buying the V710 at alltel until I saw this forum with all the complaints regarding Charging connection issues.
Alltel has a very limited selection for flip Bluetooth-
Are the V710's they are shipping today still the ones with the charger connection problem?
If so, I guess I should buy the Nokia.
Please advise.

It seems like this is actually a common Motorola charger connection problem. A lot of moto phone or all - not sure - use the same style of connection and it's just not very good. If you're careful with your phone you most likely won't have an issue, but if you're like me and you drop it a couple times and you stuff it in your 5th pocket in your jeans..
I don't even know if it was really due to me though, I don't think I'm excessively rough with it and it stopped working for me.. oh well.

I've actually had to chance to play with both and like the V710 better...I didnt like the charger with the motorola though but thats Motorolas stupidity for keeping a design that has only been problem prone since i had the v120 4 years ago! (which the charger port actually came unconnected inside the phone) It's a toss up but would def. be hands down to the V710 if motorola would design charger port like audiovox and kyocera and nokia have on their phones
