Well if refund is by February and no new good phones come out. I might go with the new 9800 But its
But that phone is $400. Not even our refund covers that. The v710 was $320 for me but minus the $100 every 2 year. so $220. I would hope that they include the New every 2 so I can get the 9800 for $80 1 year contract..

Timing is a big deal here--I actually hope the settlement is really slow, as I'm thinking about dumping Verizon and going to Cingular, but what I'd like to get is a RAZR 3i, which isn't out yet...

Why would your rebate matter? I paid $280 for my phone but I got two mail in rebates for $150 each so the phone would be free. the stupid rebate company pretended like i didn't fill out the form at first and so i complained and just now (almost the whole year later) they've finally said I'll get my check in 6-8 weeks.. crazy wait though...
But the rebate isn't the "purchase price" of the phone so I don't see why I wouldn't get $280 from the settlement...
Meaning that I'll have $300 from my mail in rebates, $280 from the settlement and i can go out and get a new phone and new plan for a good deal.. right??
