v710 SETTLEMENT

Regarding the settlement, can someone give me a brief summary of why this settlement came about, to my understanding, this is what happened:

They advertised OBEX and file transfer (ie sending pictures, wallpapers, ringers back and forth between phone and PC) - several months down the road, they decided to disable some of this functionality with a flash upgrade. result, people were dissappointed, appealed and this settlement came about.

Is this accurrate? I have to fill my paperwork out today because the 9th is tomorrow!! 🙂
