Motorola V710
Late Settlement Form
I just hope they don't reject my form.
they were pretty strict about getting the form in the mail by dec. 9 (I think that was the date) and said they would reject anything after that in bold writing. hopefully for your sake they accept it.
good luck! Im sure people will be posting as soon as we hear anything.
PS - Anyone know if we have to turn our phones in??? Id like to keep mine as a backup
Because if none of them notified the public of the suit besides posting some stuff on private boards, I don't see how they can enforce the time deadline of Dec 9th. I sent mine otu on Dec 14th because I didn't find out about until then.

Did anyone get notice of the class action suit by mail or any other means directly from the lawyers or verizon?
To be honest, I would never have heard of this lawsuit if I didn't frequent this board. Verizon has sent me absolutly NOTHING regarding this. But they have reminded me that I am now out of contract and they have all these great phones at discounted price with a new 2 year agreement!!!

Depends on which option you chose. I selected the option to return my phone for a full refund (including accessories).

Actually, it turns out that 62,000 of you did not get your settlement form. You should be getting another form shortly, according to the law firm's website. 😁 Here check it out for yourself.

Well, it's reassuring to know that I wasn't the only one not to receive information. However, this is also a pain in the ass. The scheduled final review of this class action suit is set for early this month. Now that 62,000 people have not met the deadline because of the failure to send out the notices, I am positive that we are going to have to wait even longer for our settlement.
Verizon is trying my patience and I do not know if I will stick with them after t...

Glad to see its been extended.
FWIW, I am strongly considering dumping Verizon over this matter...plan to sell my E815 on eBay, use the 2x V710s to dump this carrier, and move on. Verizon's slow roll out of EV-DO to my area, which appears to be several quarters away, seals the fate. Verizon's pathetic handling of bluetooth technology was a wake-up call for me and this class action settlement is the ticket out of the party.
