screen probs - help!
I am about to go insane!!!!!
Ok, yesterday I was talking to a friend. I wanted to switch to bluetooth, so I went to the menu. When I did the phone seemed to partially open the menu, then the graphics froze. I could still talk, however, and finished the call.
When I turned the phone off and then powered it up again, the internal screen was bright white with nothing on it. In every other way, the phone works normally. The external screen still works normally. I can still make calls, receive calls, use bluetooth, use the camera (with the external screen), dial or access menus (by memory) and get caller-id (on the external screen). The only problem is that the internal screen comes up blank white every time.
Any suggestions????? 😢

Maybe a master reset? Not sure exactly what that does (haven't seen my owners manual in ages) and you'd need to know what you password is for that, but it MAy do the trick (hopefully without losing any tones or applications/games you may have downloaded)

Try removing the battery for 30 seconds.

I had this problem about a year or so ago with my 1st or 2nd v710. I took it in to a store and showed it to the technician and they ended up giving me another phone. So I don't think it's something you can fix on your own. Does the white screen appear 100% of the time or just most of the time? Mine would do it a few times a day and then progressed to being white all the time in about a week.

My v710 is doing the same thing right now. I actually replaced the LCD but that did nothing... now I have 2 perfectly good LCD's. I had just setup bluetooth like 2 days before this happened - does anyone have anymore information on this? I would like to fix it myself, because Verizon won't replace my phone at this point.

I'm haveing the exact same problem. Was anyone able to fix it? I'd open and close the clam, and it'd come back, but now it's always white.
Can we put our phone book on the simm card? If so, what's the keying procedure? I'd have to do it "blind" since the screen doesnt work.
