Charging extended battery

I just received my OEM extended battery today. It seems like I've been charging the battery forever. The battery meter shows 2 bars and it's been charging for several hours now. If I stop charging the phone and check the battery meter, it'll show a full charge of 6 bars even while I play games or talk on the phone. Did anyone else have this problem with the extended battery?

Disregard this post. It takes longer to fully charge an extended battery. I thought I might've had a defective model. A full charge took me over 6 hours.
