vzwshop.com/v710exchange is the website to go to. It was posted over on howard forums and it does work. Some phones (xv6700) dont show up yet and most phones are priced higher than they are on the regular verizon website. I dont think the site is finished yet. At least I hope not.

You would get a check for $150. I would hold off on getting a phone from the swap site for a couple days. The lawyers aren't happy with the prices. The prices are $50 higher then VZW's web site. Hopefully they can get that changed in the next couple days. It would be nice if that Razr came down to a price where you didn't have to make a 1 or 2 year commitment.

according to the form it says we get the lesser of the amount paid for the old phone and accessories (or $200 without receipts) and the price of the replacement phone and accessories purchased from the Website.

So, if I understand this correctly I will get back $129 -- the cost of the Razr, not the cost of RAZR and the difference.

My v710 receipt is for 233.19...so it makes sense for me to try to use up all i can, otherwise VZW comes out winning. So, basically I should look at my 233.19 as store credit, and whatever I use up on this transaction up to 233.19 will be refunded to me, otherwise they keep the difference and I get enough to cover my cost.

At least this is the way I see it. But I just tried to process my order and I am get...

so what are you exactly saying?

that if you use the website. purchase a $150 razr. you put this charge on your credit card and then verizon mails you a check to reimburse you?

if this is the case. there is the 15 worry free return policy no? couldnt you purchase, get the check (if it comes in time), and then return the phone. meaning it would make sense to purchase something closest to your v710 purchase price?

im not stupid, but why does this have to be so confusing. couldnt they have just credited our wireless accounts our purchase prices?

i agree..they are making it hard for us. and i believe this is done on purpose, because this increases the number of people in the lawsuit who won't follow through, so they don't have to pay out as much.

but yes...you put the charge on your card..and once you get the phone you activate it and send it back in the fed ex envelope sent with the settlement mailing and with the filled out form. They will send you a check for whatever is less what's on your receipt or what you paid in full for the phone.

i plan to buy a couple of accessories to make sure i get the full price i paid for my phone.

however, i have logged on multiple times to try to process my order and i still get an error before the last step..annoying...they are fixing i...

Seems like they finally fixed the site and lowered the phone prices but they removed all of the good accessories!! The car charger, leather case and accessory bundles are all gone ☚ī¸. I guess ill just get that $100.00 bluetooth set instead and maybe sell it on Ebay 🙂
