Does anyone know if the lg 8000 has the ability to both vibrate and ring at the same time as the lg 6000 does?

Yes, it does have the ability to ring and vibrate simultaneously. That's one of my favorite features.

All the best,
😉

You asked a question. I chose to answer. Am I sure? That's another question. I'm sorry, but I'm never sure of anything as far as cell phone industry is concerned. You never know what manufacturer decides to do to a phone at the last moment. But that's what is known to me about that specific feature.

All the best,
😉

Dear RickDS,

that I don't know. 😕 I'm sorry, I've never used Audiovox phones in my life. To me, LG phones seem of pretty high quality (most of them). 🙂

Take care,
😉

It is also being said that u can have the vibrate on with any loudness of ring, instead of on the 6000, how its either vibrate, or vibrate and high.

yeah it is the same as the 7000 where u can have any ring level and vibrate. I really like how the 8000 can view the photo gallery with the phone closed. It is gonna be great when the EVDO comes to my area and the 8000 drops

There is no way to have the VX 7000 vibrate and ring at the same time. If you have found out how to do it, please tell us. According to techs at LG and Verizon it simply does not exist and can't be done.

Menu -> Settings & Tools -> Sounds -> Call Sounds -> Call Vibrate By doing this you can turn on vibrate and then set the ring volume to whatever u want and it will ring and vibrate. It will not vibrate first then ring after like the old LGs though
