Verizon has not posted a REAL release date, but if rumored release dates of other phones are an indication, you can expect this one to be delayed to and "in a few months" is the BEST estimate you will get! đĸ

Do a little homework on your own instead of having to be spoon feed by others! Also, just doing a simple search for "EVDO" on the bottom of this page in this Forum would have given you a lot of good information. That's what the search feature is all about, so we don't have to answer the same question a hundred times! âšī¸
Let's use this Forum to cover subjects that haven't already been covered and answered in great detail.

according to lowell mcadams the ceo of vzw at a townhall meeting, febuary is the official release month. dont know a specific date yet, also on a sidenote, some lucky SOB won one at the meeting according to a coworker of mine.

Take it for what it's worth but a search on Infomanager shows a release of January 17th for the VX8000. I tend to believe March that way if it comes out early back i'll be happy either way. LG's haven't been known for delays in releases that usually falls towards Samsung's and Motorola's. Like I said take it for what it's worth because i'm sure i'll get hammered for posting it but that is what a search on InfoManager shows.

it is already out in some areas.... sorta there is a test market program being offered in san diego and in D.C. they hace released 500 i am one of the lucky ones who got one early the test lasts until mid feb so i am sure the phone will hit the streets shortly after. the phone has a lot of nice features that have been around for a while in japan like 3-d games and video news it is slightly larger then the trend has been but i think the size is worth it for now đ

The handsets were distributed about 3 weeks ago in the D.C. and San Diego areas. Also testing ends mid January not mid february. We all know about the phones in Japan, if we didn't then hell we're on phonescoop, it's not hard to ...
