LG VX-8000

The cdm9900 has been discontinued. This has been confirmed by many vzw associates. Someone on Howardforums.com even copied & pasted the email he/she recieved from corporate. There are still quite a few left, however, and they are only available in certain areas or over the phone.

The NON-contract pricing on the vx8000 is most likely (at least) $399.99, as that is what the "testers" paid, and then were discounted the same amount (free). Ecko04 is not the only person to report a 419.99 retail price.

I also do not think you should be flapping your mouth about someone who has been a great help to everyone on these boards and those at Howard Forums. I don't mean to sound hostile, but your sarchasim was uncalled for.

That comma should not be there. Contractions are not necessesary. To instill an "emoticon" (not emotion), it should be placed within the declaration or such statement it pertains to. Otherwise, it is unclear which "emoticon" belongs to which statement.

Actually guy the 9900 was scrapped and that was before Audiovox announced that it would be making its exit in the industry! Hence the phone was released at a reduced price to clear inventory. The phone was delayed for over 3 months and at one point was removed entirely from infomanager before appearing again at a reduced price. Try oging into a store in 2 or 3 months from now trying to get a 9900 serviced, not gonna happen! There won't be anymore in stock! You might as well go pick out another phone!

I really don't care for the v710 neither, i've had 2 of them and 2 VX7000's. No way in the blue hell I would actually wait for an Audiovox......it's an Audiovox. Contrary to your post you still make some wrong and invalid assumptions and falsified points. Where to start! This phone took so long to make it out of testing it was rediculous. It was pulled from InfoManager and I checked inventory and watched it almost deplete down to nothing. Now let me clarify myself by saying the phone was scrapped due to the fact there was a chance it was not going to pass testing yet that did not mean that the models weren't already made because they were. It disappered from InfoManager then reappeared 2 months later with a new estimated release date with an all new lowered retail price.

Now as for those under warranty, they're there until they're depleted then there will not be anymore. The phone is discontinued...

Either way you put it whether you read this of of infomanager. To post any information from it is actually illegal to those with access to it. Id suggest you don't mention your source of information before you loose your job, Rep.
