LG VX-8000
I have the VX8000 - may be interested in selling it...
I am one of the current testers of the VX8000 on the Verizon network, and I must say, the phone has worked like a champ. Reception has been great, picture quality is very good, wireless web 2.0 is very fast.
The Mobile Media is very cool too, and impresses all my friends - but I probably should not be watching it while I am driving!
However, I will probably be selling it after the trial period is over. While it is indeed "way cool", it's just a bit too large for me. I guess I am rather particular.
Look for it on eBay after the trial is over!

When is it that the trial ends because if it does not become available in my local I would be very interested in purchasing it.

I'm hoping I'm not the only one but has anyone been able to resolve this issue somehow? My dust comes in from the bottom left of my external screen and I hate it. I feel like getting one of those screw drivers and taking it out.

Yes, I just noticed today that there is some dust in my ext. window also.
Perhaps some compressed air like that used for pc keyboards would blow it out of there.

Same identical problem here. It is a design defect. Dust accumulating from bottom left corner of external screen.

I just purchased an lg 6100. It seems like a decent phone ,even though it does not have video. Does the 8000 have a speakerphone and is the phone tri mode.(some say yes and others are not sure tell the final specs come out).Would you return this and wait for the 8000. When is the real release date. If it does have a speaker how does it compare to the one on the lg6100..How is the sound quality on the 8000?

From having the phone. It is not tri-mode. And is all digital and it does indeed, have a speaker phone. I think the 8000 sounds great but returning phones with verizon isnt exactly... Do able (unless you have that kind of connection). I personally love the 8000. It lacks a few features but is still an all around great phone and the new network works great.
