LG VX-8000
Question on EVDO...
If someone buys the LG VX-8000 do they have to pay 15 dollars a month plus their phone plan or can they just get the 8000, just pay their same phone plan, and not have the EVDO network available to them?(like the news, MTV, and stuff like that, that costs more money)....

you dont have to pay the $15 fee, thats only if u want the service. the ev-do is built in cant really change that...

not true. There is a way to disable ev-do feature, and u will access the web through 1x which will use your airtime and u wont have to pay 15$ a month 🙂 thats what i do hehehe. just have to know how to get there 🙂

it doesn't transfer at evdo speeds...or if you happen to...you are paying either airtime or 0.15 per kb
