You can buy the tones from a verizon store for 2.99 usd or use a cable to load them.

where do you get the cable?

Has anyone actually used the cable to try this, if not assume nothing because knowing verizon they will probably have it blocked so you can't download mp3's through the cable. They want you to pay to get them through get it now🙂 Hopefully you are right though and we will be able to dowload them.

umm hello. i use my lg vx6000 cable and it snuggles in. it works better with the vx7000 cable but both cables work well and the same. you can upload mp3s into the vx8000 as long as you put it in the "tunes" section. remember it only has 64 mb and so i guess you can only put like..what..3-4 songs on there cuz it needs space for other things as well.

Where did you get your lg vx6000 and vx7000 cables from? Did you get it as part of the mobile office kit from Verizon Wireless?
