Is the 7000 cable same as 8000?
Is the vx7000 usb cable an exact fit for the vx8000 (The verizon vx7000 mobile office kit in particular)? I have a vx6000 usb cable from my old phone and it fits in realllly tight. It works but I know someday it'll break the phone. So I don't want to buy another so called vx8000 cable on ebay that is really for vx6000. Thanks

Cable for 6100 7000 and 8000 is same not the 6000 even though people are claiming it fits. I have one for my 6000 and i see the grooves are differant so i will not force it. I have seen cables on e-bay,thats where im getting mine.

all u have to do is squese the gery thigns and push it in lightly...should go in fine i use my 6000 cable..but i see ur point about ambye eventualy breakin the phone and that would b bad, but i have insurence so if i do i'll jsut say i lost it and get a new one

all u have to do is use a razor to shave off the grooves in the 6000 cable. it should work fine and it'll be perfect fit
