Can I get photos out of my 8000 and onto my Apple computer? If so, how? Thank you.

Yes you can. Macs are best- you don't need find and install a compatible driver. Just plug it in and your set. Use bitpim. The latest versions support the vx8000. Just do a google search and download it. Follow the tour in help and it should explain everything.
