I know that this has been asked before, but I don't see a clear answer. Where is the best place to get a USB Cable? E-Bay? Radio Shack?

I also notice that Data Pilot makes kits that cost about $80 that includes a disk and can sync other things besides pictures?

Has anyone else had problems with self made ringtones not being accepted by their 8000? I make my ringtones in Goldwave and then sent them to my phone as an attachment like picture mail. When my phone gets the message it says that there was a message reciept failure and the file can not be accepted.
Any help will be great?

This all started as a joke from a guy i work with (outdoor-maintenance)he scratched up his old 6000 phone and he was using the vzw leather case,dirt wold get in behind case and scratch up the phone.The phone died on a rainy day and he was pissed so he replaced it with the 7000 and trid to protect it from the weather.Came up with a solution,he didnt like the people we were working for so he thought he wold play a prank on them,he went to store and purchased the largest condom he could find(non lubricated of course)slipped it over and tied end.Well the people werent offended by it,they thought it was a good idea and till this day he has a condom on his phone,leaves it out in rain and changes it from time to time and no scratches.Try it on the ...

Hello everyone, does anyone know how to get tunes into the tune folder without a data cable, and can tunes be transferred into the ringers folder or be used as ringers from the tunes folder?

Hey everyone. Ive been reading the posts on here and I've seen all the methods of getting MP3 ringtones to your vx8000.... from the data cable to the email. The simplest way that ive seen is to use this site called www.freeringers.net. It costs $8.00 for unlimited access. All you do is upload your mp3 to the site, then they send it to your phone. It was real simple and easy and Ive already got a bunch of MP3's on my phone now! Just wanted to let ya'll know.

I fully charged my phone yesterday and may have used it 4 or 5x with the total usage of the phone time being about 15-20mins. Today he battery indicator gives me 2 bars. Does that sound right? Isn't it suppose to have stand by capabilites of 7.7 days ? 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕

I need help deciding on the LG VX-8000 and the Samsung SCH-a890. Hopefully I can get some unbiased opinions that just say get this because it's better. I need some information that explains why the phone is better than the other. I would be using my phone mostly for personal calls, text messaging, and picture taking.

Hi, i currently have the LG VX-7000, but i really like the 8000. I've had the 7000 since the summer when i renewed my 2 year family plan. How much do you think the 8000 would cost (unactivated) and do you think it is worth it?

How many photos and videos can be stored on this phone or how much memory in the phone is devoted to the video and to the pictures? The Samsung SCH-A890 has 4 MB for the pictures and 8 MB for the video so I was wondering if anyone knew. Thanks.

I wrote the other day about prblems with vzw,trying for 3 days about a problem with switching back to old phone when work conditions or needing tri-mode was was wanted. Thought it was great when i found it online on my over view page that i could switch phone to phone without calling in GREAT.Wrong it didnt work,tried for 3 days sending emails calling, being transfered to multiple personell and know one could figure out why it wouldnt work for me? They even went into my account and it didnt work for them, they were shocked.So finally the last one i talked to said she would call me back in 20 mins,well nothing,i was pissed so i sent Verizon a nasty email.Four hours later (yesterday about 5) the lady called back.The problem is which will proba...

I know how to put games onto your phone, but i need to know where to find the games. Anyone know where i can download them off the internet onto my computer for free. I have a data cable to get them to my phone. If anyone can tell me where i can get them, i can teach you how to put them on your phone.

Also if you have a game on ur phone, IM me (nhsoccerdude89). I have Jamdat 3d Bowling. I know how we can trade each other. Only its not really trading. u still keep your game but we get each others too. We just copy the game file and send it to each other. IM me if your interested.

The VX8000 only has 6 megabytes for games, and some VCast games are over 2 megabytes. If I buy a game and then run out of space, can i move it to my computer using a data cable, and later move it back when i delete other games?

Had to talk w/ a manager, who was really nice.

Tried like 5 times before that and got shot down.

I like it too. Holds the phone well, can flip it while it's in there, etc.

You claim youve had alot of problems with Verizon w'ell i join you in saying that i've had quite a few myself.I send emails about problems with sending pics and now a differant problem and it takes a day or more for response and the response is B.S. its like they didnt read what the hell i wrote about the problem and answer with something off the wall. Now let me tell you what is going on now, i just noticed other day online with VZW (my account page) that you can switch to another phone like my old one without calling in,sounds Great but it didnt work.I have been on phone with them and they said give them 48 hrs and they dont know why it dont work,that it should.Also since i got phone on the 1st the phone doesnt appear on my account page ei...
