dropped calls??
I have the 6100 for a few months now and have noticed that my old motorola didn't have half as many dropped calls in the two years that I owned it as this one does in the few months! I was traveling a route that I always travel and all of a sudden it went into analog mode (which it never did in that location) and kept dropping my calls. I am thinking about trading this in for the 7000. Anyone else have these issues? HELP!!

ya, search this forum and you'll find that many are experiencing this same issue as you. i personally tried 2 brand new 6100 and had the same exact problem on both so I know it's not just that 1 phone I had. My moto v60i worked much better. I ended up returning the 6100. personally, i think it's a piece of junk. I don't know if the 7000 is any better. I noticed LGs are weaker than Motorola when it comes to signal reception so I don't think the 7000 is any better. You'll still get dropped calls. STick with a moto.

I am in sales for Verizon Wireless, and I have the VX1600. I don't expreience any dropped calls, however I live in a big city, with great coverage. I can tell you, please please please don't get the vx7000. The reason for this is that the VX6100 is a tri-mode phone, which means it has the analog backup for better reception. The VX7000 is an all digital phone. Which means, it's pretty much guaranteed to have worse reception than the vx6100. If you are going to upgrade to a more expensive model, I would go with the Motorola V710. In my opinion, the v710 is probably the highest quality phone we ar selling right now.
