Whatever price the V3 ends up retailing at ... IT WILL BE EXPENSIVE! Get over it. Aside from a few nice technological features, this is a pretty basic phone ... It just happens to be wrapped in a very sexy package. Sexy = expensive. If you want all the features of the V3 (and more) get the v710, and switch to Verizon. That phone HAS MP3 playback, it HAS removable media, it HAS analog roaming, it HAS a better camera. However, it also has a plastic case, a generic look, a honkin' antenna stub, and a thickness nearly double that of the V3. You don't get Ferrari style on a Daewoo budget. Let's face it. Lets see all of you KMART shoopers, this phone is NOT a "blue-light special." This is like choosing between, shoes, unlisted or Kenneth Cole... Buying a Ralph Lauren Polo shirt or buying a cheap(er) imitation. Do you buy Hilfiger Khakis or Haggar?
Look at it this way, do you sit in the cheap seats when you go to a concert or sporting event, or, do you get the best?
Do you buy OEM floor mats for your YUGO or do you go to WAL MART and get those ones 9.92?
Its all relative, even in the phone industry. You either look like you have it or you get the freebie phone.
