Motorola RAZR V3
v3 received today please read
Pros
-lightweight
-loud ringer
-nice reception/volume in mic.
-voice dial works with BT headset and speaker kit
-looks cool
Cons
-feels flimsy
-has some minor nicks around the charger slot and on the back where you take the cover off
-batter cover is a M F'r to get off and on (especially back on)
-not particularly feature rich when you consider the price
-Cingular shipped it with a charger, manual and stupid little M branded pillow thing
NO PHONE TOOLS CD, NO DATA CABLE, NO EXTRA BATTERY, NO HEADSET OF ANY KIND.... ALL FOR A SPECIAL LOW PRICE OF $500 W/2 YEAR CONTRACT COMMITMENT

Btw, the MPx220 was getting mixed reviews last time I checked. Plus, voice dialing is not supported thru a bluetooth headset for that phone.
You might want to consider the V551. So far the reviews seem pretty positive for that phone, but it just came out and there still aren't very many reviews to judge by either.

I know, I know. I really like the MPX220 because of it's rich features not the least of which is the active sync which connects you immediately to MS Outlook so contacts, calendar and tasks get transferred in seconds and really seamlessly.
The friggin' volume though!!! I actually read a post by a guy over at HoFo that said he removed the Cingular logo plate from the bottom of the MPX and the volume issue for the person he was calling improved 100%.
I am really torn on this one as I have a good friend who works at Moto and can get a killer discount on the MPX and all other Moto phones except the V3.
How the heck do I justify keeping the V3 when I ultimately really want a properly worki...

Ditto. Almost as many features, but so far no bad reviews & the bluetooth ain't crippled, i.e. the bluetooth on the V551 allows voice dialing thru a bluetooth headset.
The only other option would be to wait for the Nokia 6255i or until they fix the V710 (don't hold your breath on that one...)
