Motorola RAZR V3
PRICE change
A DEALER might drop the price as an inticement to sign up for service through them but I can't imagine Cingular would. Certainly not before to 100 day exclusive is up (late Feb)

The phone is white hot, no one can find any stock, why would you think they'd drop the price?
I work at a Cingular store in CT. We have had the same 4 Razr's in stock since last Monday. Nobody seems to want to pay the $500. Oh well.
I am willing to sell at $500/each. I know you might not think this is a deal but right now that's the best price for a 2-year commitment with Cingular.
These phones are unlocked just like the ones Cingular is selling and they are the American version. In fact, they will come with the Cingular logo on the back and preloaded with the Cingular GPRS settings which of course can be changed if you want.
First come first serve. email me if you are interested.....

I’m really not trying to flame you personally, but your negativity in this forum for over a month has been pronounced enough that I can’t resist hoisting you by your own petard. 🙂
A month ago you said in a review: “The phone is a good phone. I have had mine for a week and it's solid. But, it's not worth $1k, $700 or even $300,” that “Moto did an overall nice job with this phone but in my opinion as a marketer and phone junkie they f'd up the marketing.”
On Sunday you went into an absolute rant and said, among other things, “IF MOTO AND CINGULAR ARE "RAISING THE BAR" THEY HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB OF JAMMING IT UP OUR A$$E$”
NOW, suddenly, you have a “few,” NIB, that you would like to sell for $500, ...

FYI my lit or law major pal.... I've put up a fair number of specific help posts in the past months.
As far as my lack of reverance for Motorola and Cingular go.... has nothing to do with the V3. I think this is a particularly nice phone. My full "rant" as you call it was contrasting this phone at a very high introductory price to the rest of the Moto lineup. Finally, a phone that performs well, has great RF, sound quality, quad band, bluetooth. Great job. But at $1,000 or $500... seems a bit high to just enter the world of good (read acceptable) phones supplied by Moto.
So, my barb for Moto is aimed at their lack of marketing strategy relative to pricing. ...

I'll get some class by writing phrases stripped not from my normal vernacular but from some books that I have read or studied.
I'll get some class by bashing a person because I think they are bad but without realizing that they actually go out of their way to help folks.
Of course you didn't mean to personally flame me. Of course not.........
Well, so it's perfectly clear to you my opinion of you as a person represented in the posts that you have made.... single celled organism with some exposure to money and toxic waste. go think about it
