i was told that the mpx 200 uses the same charger..i looked at it and yes, it uses the mini-usb hook up too. I'm alil scared to use it and find out that i messed up my phone or battery. Also, I have the European model. My wall charger has the euro plug so i have to use a US adapter. Since it is a world phone, i think it handles any voltage difference ok...i just want to make sure..any advice?

It's not the phone, but the charger that handles the voltage differences. Look on each charger and see if the polarity (+ and - of the plug) and the mA (milliamperage) is the same. That is all that matters. They should be very similar if not the same.

I have a mpx200 charger, and when i plug it into my razr, even though they're exactly the same, physically, it doesn't charge, it just says "unable to charge" on my RAZR. The reason for this is the difference in voltage output between the two chargers, the RAZR is designed to charge within a small range of voltage output, while the mpx200 is less specific; so in actuality, because not all chargers made output the exact same voltage some mpx200 chargers will work, some will not.....but i don't recommend using the mpx charger to charge the razr. 🙂
