Motorola RAZR V3
NEED Advice on the V3 and Cingular vs. T-Mobile Please!
Can anyone give me some advice on getting the V3, like do u know any places that sell the phone for a good price without the plan in New York city?
And if you had to get the plan, would you choose T-mobile (also offering the V3 in Manhattan) or Cingular; who is a better service provider? I know that Cingular uses
T-mobile's towers but T-mobile's reception sucks, i get NO reception at work.
I went to both stores and i can either stay on my current T-mobile plan and pay $500 for the phone by "upgrading my plan" or move to Cingular and become a new customer, but paying more initially for additional service features and $499 for the razr V3... 😡

i thought that the razr v3 was exclusive to cingular. are you sure tmobile was offering that phone as well?

yea, i went to the t-mobile store on 86th & 3rd ave. basically it's an unlocked phone (the man who works there also owns cingular store so i think he got the phones unlocked from cingular) sold at the t-mobile store, not officially supported by t-mobile but i think it will have a warranty under t-mobile if purchased from there.
