Recording Voice Record Message
Greetings All,
Anytime i try to use my phone, i keep getting a Recording Voice Record message that comes up.
I can't access anything on my phone. Any button i push brings up this message.
I can receive phone calls just fine, but i am not able to make any calls because of this.
Anyone else ever encountered this issue?
I have already made a call to Cingular, and they are sending a new phone, but i just wanted to see if there is a fix to this.
I have removed the battery and sim card, and put them back in. Still getting the same result.

maybe one of the 3 buttons on the left/right sides of the phone are stuck? voice record by default is one of the 2 buttons on the left side of the phone.

Hi I had the same problem, tried reflashing the phone etc, to no avail.
I grabbed my handy back up phone and used that for a few days, until I could call Motorola to have the issue retified. Meanwhile I left the phone on the coffee table in the lounge room with the batt out. (glass top table with aluminium legs)
When Monday came around, I grabbed the phone popped the batt in and my back up sim so I could have it ready for the support tech - and OMG it worked fine!
I think having it run out of power for a few days fixed it, though it could have been one of the cats mucking around with the phone while I was asleep - maybe give that a try. I postted this here because no one else has a solution I could find online.
