Problems using RAZR as modem
I am trying to use my RAZR as a modem. I have the Bluetooth established and have set up the modem with dial up wizard and MPT. when I try to dial up my isp the Razr lites up, sounds 3 quick tones and within a FEW seconds I get a response that the computer at the other end is not responding. I emphasize this happens within 2 or 3 seconds after sending the dial command. Anyone have any ideas. This happens when I am connected with Bluetooth or usb and if I am using the XP or the MPT created connections.

MPT does not work, I tried but it failed. After I try another stuff called Handset Manager software, it works nice and easy!

I finally got this to work. After hours on the phone with Cingular I finally dragged it out of them that you need a feature called CSD enabled. My Razr now works just like any other modem. Both Bluetooth and dialup. Slower yes, about half the speed of a speedy dialup, not great for surfing the web but plenty adequate for E-mail and lookup.
