Clean the screen with a microfiber (sunglass) cloth. It's just latex from the pad that's underneath the laser cut aluminum (specifically the 5 and the curved lines between the rows of numbers that are there to lallow you to "feel" your way around the keypad).

It'll stop after a few months, because the latex will wear away a little from use.

yea actually i have that problem, its the menu key and the center circular buttons that make a smudge on my screen...its a pain in the ass but i use my microfiber cloth from my psp to get it off and it works pretty good
