HELP on Alarm display etc
Hi ! I have got this georgeous looking black V3 and considering I have been with NOKIA for the last 10 years ......I am not regreting my decision. Two very irritating things though....I wonder if I am doing somthing wrong. (The manual is so pathetic )
1. If I set the alarm on there is NO sign that it has been set on the face of the phone. In fact one has to go to alarm and then to edit to see the time that has been set. Even the cheapest of the NOKIA model have this feature. Moreover everyday one has to enable this feature...there no way one can set it and forget it( I have always used my mobile to get up in the morning ).
2. In case there is an incoming call and the phone has been configured to answer automatically on flipping open...

I have had the same prob with the alarm-
i don't usually use the alarm function but i used it for the first time the other day to wake up from a nap. I guess i chose the daily alarm option by mistake (or simply forgot to disable it? i'm not sure), and since there is no alarm icon on the main screen, i didn't even know the alarm was still in effect.
The next day, the alarm went off in my class despite the fact that the phone itself was in silent mode. I was sooooo embarrassed! especially cuz i didn't even realize it was my phone and kept looking around to see who was this jackass disrupting the class.
i wasn't so angry that this phone doesn't have an alarm icon on the screen, but rather, the fact that the alarm could go off in silent ...
