R.I.P. dear V60, bye bye BlackBerry, and hello RAZR

After three long years of diehard service with my V60, I finally laid to rest it's battered little case and scratched screen. Too much technology had passed us by and it was time for a something new.
So I thought, hey - I'll go all the way, and get a smartphone! I bought a BlackBerry 7105t yesterday, and returned it today. I actually loved the functionality of the non-phone part, but the phone quality sucked - hugely. No one could hear me clearly, there would be inexplicable static, and my voice would go "in and out". Seeing as how the internet part was of secondary importance to having a reliable phone, bye bye BlackBerry. When RIM puts as much energy into the phone circuitry as they do with the rest of the phone, I'll be back to chec...
