Yeah that's something I debated... It is made by LG....
But you're right, it's just more confusing to call it an LG when it's 100% marketed as a Google device. We listed the first Pixels as "Google" devices, and I've just changed it to Google for these, too.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves here. Google is marketing this as their "Brand". It just so happened that they (like most companies) don't actually build anything.
Yes, LG and HTC may have "manufactured" these devices but Google owns the design. Didn't HTC and Motorola manufacture the Nexus?
Currently, T-Mobile is marketing their own brand of phones. The REVVL and REVVL Plus. One my made by Coolpad and the other by Alcatel.
It's a Google phone and its a T-Mobile phone. Who made it is irrelevant because you can't buy one from the manufacturer.
