Danger Hiptop 2 / Sidekick II

i got my phone stolen and my cousin gave me his sidekick 2 since he just changed his cell phone service. only thing is that the button u hold down to turn it on is messed up and basically it isnt there. so i was wondering if there is an alternative way to turn on the sidekick 2. im hopin there is. as an ex sidekick 2 user i was really excited when he gave it to me. anyways please get back to me if u kno anything about this
