I know this reall yisnt tha place for this note, but many of you are on VZW.
i just changed my 650 plan to the 4000 min unlimited data plan , did anybody realize that VZW requires you too extend your contract date? I had 6 months left they just added 18 more months, This was the first I heard that they can change your plan by just saying it nothing in writing? I don't believe verbal contract are legal?
Has anybody else been illegally extended. I am about to pay the 175. and tell them to stick there service you know where.

Verbal contracts are legal... However you should have been told when you upgraded your plan... take heart in the fact that Sales reps do not like this fact any more than you do though...
If you extend your contract, you can still upgrade your phone at the original 22 month mark, but since your contract wont end within the next two months, the reps dont get paid... how lame is that? Verizon got another two years out of you without having to pay any reps any money... *sigh*

Most of the time it's not the sales reps that change plans all the time. It's usually the customer service reps at the call centers, and we don't live based off of "commission" for extending agreements and doing price plan changes. If we did, we'd be stuck living off of about $100 a month...and that's if it's a good month!
