basically the same thing with GSM 1800 right?
The GSM freq used in the US are 850 & 1900.
My understanding is that T-mobile only runs 1900. Cingular i know runs both 850 & 1900.
.. but that said i think (mind you i don't have anyway of backing it up..) T-mobile may get in on some 850 action, b/c the 6101 does have the 850 band .. now that is just shear speculation on my part.. plus an interesting question might be if you had a phone that supported 850 & had a T-mobile sim, could you roam on a 850 network ?? i don't know the answer, but maybe someone else does..
