Nokia 6682 / 6681
this phone?
is this phone really as good as every body says it is. I have never had a nokia phone befor as well as never have had a bar phone either. I think this is nice but same with the s710a. andvice for this phone or the s710a would be great thanks.

1-I think what icy meant was that there are not many who have owned both that could give a comparison.
2- Most that read and post here have the phone and are looking for tips, fixes, cool programs and the like.
Most don't come here to read or write Consumers Report comparisons(try the s710 forum, ask them to compare to the 6682).
I NEVER respond to posts that ask, "which should I buy, xxx oy yyy?".
I always try to answer posts with info that will help another user.

Well said. Everyone's answer will definitely be opinionated anyway. I have both phones and I know which one I like best. It's really no contest either. One totally blows the other away.

I have both, well had both. I sold off my 6682 for a few reasons.
First that camera door. Whats up with that. Feels like its gonna fall off not to mention it unwantingly slides open all the time.
Second I really like the SE S710a. The UI is great and the phone is built solid. I dig the remote capabilities via bluetooth for your desktop, presenter and media player. I just did a presentation and being able to control my iBook w/my phone as if it were a BT mouse was primo. S710a is far and away a better phone. Of course this is my opinion but that is what was asked for.
