I have the Krusell case as well and I don't care for it. It makes the screen blurry as if it has some kind of film on the clear cover. I wish I knew of a good alternative.

I'm actually looking at getting a Timbuk2 ipod case, as the phone is equivelant in size & i'm more of the nylon/ backpack material persuasion. I have a Timbuk2 case for my Canon SD200 & i really like it..

.. just a thought..

Maybe you would prefer an open screen case, so that it can look clear...until it gets scratched..

20 phones in 13 years??? have you had one long enough to get scratched???

I had a 3600 for 2 years and it looks the same as the day I got it. But then I only put it in my one front pants pocket and nothing else went in it.

Why don't you cut the plastic out, starting at the bottom of the screen and go all the way to the top of the case.

The point would be to not have the screen get scratched. Cutting out the front clear cover would allow scratching and would not support the phone so it would stay in the rest of the case.

I am curious. Do most of you keep your 6682 in a carrying case? With bar form phones is that a general rule? I am so used to the clamshell design and the thought of liquid getting onto the screen and keys jolts me into wanting to stay safe with a clamshell..... butyet I know that the 6682 is a superior phone.

I like a case that threads on to my belt to protect the phone but keeps it easily available so I can quickly withdraw the phone for use. I also prefer a case that holds the phone horizontally as it is more comfortable for me.

Brookstone has a nice looking leather case that fits these requirements and fits the 6682 fairly well. The diameter is perfect and about 1/2 inch extra in length. it is $15 in the store.

There are several cases on their website. I noticed one that was more of a leather box (don't know a better way to describe it)... it has a flap on the top and the phone is horizontal.

I recommended the site to some friends of mine who were looking for a horizontal "holster" of sorts.

I purchased a silicon sleeve from http://www.brando.com.hk (I might have found it closer than HongKong, but shipping was only 11 days from order time).
My 6682 is in it's protective silicon sleeve and I nestle it in a generic bodyglove belt-clip case when I want to clip it. It's often in my pocket though (depending on how stylish I want to be).
