not sure, but that is a steal! but read the small print...technically, you have to send in 2 mail-in rebates. both of them are "customer loyalty" rebates, which means you can't send them in until after 180 days from activation date (6 months!!) ... so yeah it's free but only if you have a lot of patience!!
