Nokia 6682 / 6681
unlock code for nokia 6682
I just bought the nokia 6682 and it is locked into the cingular network, i currently have ATT and need the phone unlocked Could somebody please help me with this problem.

Sure, once you find a place that will do it for free with the IMEI...let us all know please. Right now the only person who knows who/how only told us that he/she "knows somebody in the business". Well that's probably a dongle....just my guess.
Cingular will be more than happy to unlock your phone. I think it will cost you $200 or something like that to get it unlocked by them.

actually looking closer at the website, it only lists flashing the phone to 3.01.1, they state that it does NOT unlock the phone. They do not list unlocking right now.

this is an odd firmware to flash to IMHO, my Cingular branded 6682's firmware version is 3.01.1 but the stock Nokia's 6682 that i saw at a Nokia Experience center is .. 3.00.14 (at least thats what it looks like, i took a pic of it, but it was way blurry, so i can't be 100% sure)
..so why would anyone want to flash to the version that cingular has?
